Reference page 18 in the Portfolio Guide.
Under the heading of each unit you will see its credit value and the number of learning outcomes (LOs) covered. Each LO sets out the evidence you must provide to show that you have met the criteria and provides guidance to help you appreciate what is expected. Do refer to the explanation of annotations. Several words have specific meanings which are used in the Guidance:
"may" = means that something is permitted
"can" or "could" = mean that you have a choice
"should" = means that something is good or best practice
"must" = refers to something that is required by law
Name the council when asked to relate the task to a specified council and note your role to all council documents.
ALWAYS double check the question and the guidance - get out a marker pen and highlight and/or underline the clues to help you make sure you provide all that is being asked for.
Follow instructions closely and keep to the point - avoid including material that is not required and make sure you keep to the word limits and use a concise writing style.
The Portfolio Guide on page 8 gives you all the information on word county including some tips on how to manage tight limits by using bullet points or tables.
