How SALC webinars work
Webinars are not the same as online meetings but they do enable a large number of people to watch and interact with presenters via chat functions.
As a delegate you will receive a link to the webinar following and this will take you to the live event (if this is what you have booked onto). The host will see the number of delegates and names and, if enabled, you will be able to chat (a written message) to other delegates virtually and raise questions which the speaker or host will answer. This often, however, depends on the number of questions that are coming in and the length of the webinar. Sometimes the host can enable a delegate to join the panel to ask the question before being returned to the delegate area.
SALC uses webinars when it offers the best format for a large number of attendees.
