Our bi-monthly Clerk Networking sessions bring clerks together to learn, connect and share experiences. Each one-hour session includes an expert-led presentation on a topical issue, followed by an informal networking and Q&A session where you can exchange ideas, discuss challenges and seek guidance from the SALC team.
We will be joined by Jasmin Andrew, Resilient Communities Officer from the Suffolk Resilience Forum (SRF), alongside Nikki and Dawn from the Joint Emergency Planning Unit (JEPU), for an informative session on how parish councils can strengthen community resilience and prepare for emergencies.
Discover the importance of Community Emergency Plans, learn practical steps your council can take to support local preparedness, and explore how to encourage residents to be ready for unexpected events.
You'll also hear about the resources and support available to communities across Suffolk.
What you'll gain:
Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion.
