 rom the SALC team. We will be joined by Jasmin Andrew\, Resilient Communit
 ies Officer from the Suffolk Resilience Forum (SRF)\, alongside Nikki and 
 Dawn from the Joint Emergency Planning Unit (JEPU)\, for an informative se
 ssion on how parish councils can strengthen community resilience and prepa
 re for emergencies. Discover the importance of Community Emergency Plans\,
  learn practical steps your council can take to support local preparedness
 \, and explore how to encourage residents to be ready for unexpected event
 s. You'll also hear about the resources and support available to communiti
 es across Suffolk. What you'll gain: A better understanding of the role pa
 rish councils play in emergency preparedness. Practical guidance on develo
 ping and maintaining a Community Emergency Plan. Ideas for promoting house
 hold preparedness within your community. Information on the support and re
