Clerks unplugged

A bi-monthly networking event designed to bring clerks together.

Unlike our usual format, this event will be delivered as a single, extended session to allow for a more in-depth and interactive conversation.

Our guest speakers will be Ashley Grant and Amy Hart from the Norfolk and Suffolk Gypsy, Roma and Traveller Service.

The NSGRTS Team have developed a brand new guidance pack specifically designed for town and parish councils. This practical session will be an opportunity to present and explain this guidance. Offer clear, step-by-step advice on responding to unauthorised encampments, from the critical first 24 hours through to legal options, prevention, and partnership working.

This is a valuable opportunity to build confidence, strengthen local networks, and ensure your council is prepared to respond lawfully, proportionately, and effectively.

Attendees will gain valuable insight into decision-making around toleration versus eviction, understand the roles of agencies, and have the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences...

To facilitate this and ensure no question is left unanswered, the full session has been dedicated to open discussion and engagement with the speakers.
