New NSIPs engagement coordinator
Recognising and celebrating winners and Suffolk finalists

On Monday 2nd March, SALC welcomed Elma Glasgow, as our first NSIPs Community Engagement Coordinator.

With a focus on providing strategic guidance on community engagement for responses during key NSIP phases (pre-applicable, pre-examination, examination and delivery), Elma brings expertise in communications including community engagement.

She is supporting Councils and Parish Meetings in their engagement with residents and local businesses so they can have a say on NSIPs affecting your area.

Working on Mondays and Tuesdays, Elma is developing new member resources, and is planning a programme of webinars and other helpful content.

In the meantime, we would like to remind you of our guide, Getting to Grips with NSIPs.  This is particularly valuable if NSIPs are new to you.

Updates will follow in future newsletters, but if you have any ideas and suggestions for new resources, please email Elma at engagement@suffolk-alc.gov.uk.
