 e SALC internal audit service is a well established offer to local council
 s and aims to assist local councils maintain and improve internal controls
  in accordance with proper practices as set out in the Accounts and Audit 
 Regulations. We are now able to offer our customers the ability to book th
 eir audits with us on a specific week so as to manage timings and key task
 s such as allowing time for the full council to consider the report\, comp
 letion and submission of the AGAR and publication of the public notice of 
 inspection. What happens when you book you will receive an automatic email
  to confirm the booking the SALC administration team will then contact you
  with a link to a dedicated folder so that you can upload your documents (
 with instructions) you will receive a reminder 10 days before the weekly s
 lot about uploading your documents you will be informed when the audit is 
 allocated to an internal auditor when the audit is complete you will be se
 nt a link to the report Link to our internal audit information page includ
 ing fees for 2023.
