 LC internal audit service is a well established offer to local councils an
 d aims to assist local councils maintain and improve internal controls in 
 accordance with proper practices as set out in the Accounts and Audit Regu
 lations. We are now able to offer our customers the ability to book their 
 audits with us on a specific week so as to manage timings and key tasks su
 ch as allowing time for the full council to consider the report\, completi
 on and submission of the AGAR and publication of the public notice of insp
 ection. What happens when you book you will receive an automatic email to 
 confirm the booking the SALC administration team will then contact you wit
 h a link to a dedicated folder so that you can upload your documents (with
  instructions) you will receive a reminder 10 days before the weekly slot 
 about uploading your documents you will be informed when the audit is allo
 cated to an internal auditor when the audit is complete you will be sent a
  link to the report Link to our internal audit information page including 
 fees for 2023.
