Each 1-hour session is split in two part s: Part One features a focused discussion on a specific topic\, led by an expert or guest speaker\, offering valuable insights and/ or practical kno wledge. Part Two provides a safe\, supportive space to connect with fellow clerks\, exchange ideas\, share experiences\, and raise questions. It’s also an opportunity to speak with the SALC team for general guidance on n ew issues or emerging areas of concern. Our guest speakers will be Graham Abbott (Public Health\, Suffolk County Council) and Julie Chapman (Suffolk Wellbeing Service\, NSFT). The session will be focusing on: the importanc e of managing your own wellbeing supporting the wellbeing of those who vol unteer on councils promoting the wellbeing of wider communities\, particul arly during periods of significant stress\, such as major infrastructure p rojects We will also be highlighting the Well Minds booklet\, produced by the Public Health and Communities Team at Suffolk County Council in partne rship with the Suffolk Voluntary and Statutory Partnership (VASP)\, with k ind permission from the Communities and Leisure Team at East Suffolk Counc il and the East Suffolk Community Partnership Board.
