 unplugged A bi-monthly networking event designed to bring clerks together.
  Each 1-hour session is split in two parts: Part One features a focused di
 scussion on a specific topic\, led by an expert or guest speaker\, offerin
 g valuable insights and/ or practical knowledge. Part Two provides a safe\
 , supportive space to connect with fellow clerks\, exchange ideas\, share 
 experiences\, and raise questions. It’s also an opportunity to speak wit
 h the SALC team for general guidance on new issues or emerging areas of co
 ncern. Our guest speaker will be Jacqui Wilkinson – Organisation Develop
 ment Officer -Safeguarding and Quality Assurance from Community Action Suf
 folk. The session will aim to help you: Understand your safeguarding oblig
 ations Understand key safeguarding policies and procedures Identify key sa
 feguarding behaviours Discover practical tools and support available There
  will be time for Q&A. View the local council annual calendar to help you 
 focus on important tasks relating to council administration
