 e. October 2024 saw the introduction of new statutory obligations for Coun
 cil’s to prevent sexual harassment of their Employees. This includes the
  need to update policies and procedures\, consult with staff\, conduct ess
 ential training for Employees and Councillors\, and take ‘reasonable ste
 ps’ to protect the Council from claims of Harassment at an Employment Tr
 ibunal. To enable Councils to prepare and work within these new entitlemen
 ts\, we are conducting a 1 hour information session to provide members wit
 h the information they need to know. This information session will be deli
 vered by Chris Moses from Personnel Advice and Solutions\, HR consultant.
